• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Winter mods near done. Added:
1. Elka Stage 5 shocks with red springs
2. Two Brothers Black carbon fiber pipe
3. K and N air filter
4. Juice box pro (still working on this, I have installed it twice, bike won't start, likely bad unit, shipping it back to to TB)
5. Black powder coat (matte finish) on all grey parts, rims, hub, TB connector pipe/heat shield, sprocket and IPS
6. Powersports wrap "Best" flames and other detailing decals utilizing the "Jake" skull and dash carbon fiber kit (Thanks Pete!)
7. All plastic/chrome parts painted black
8. Replace fog lights with black inserts
9. New speakers front and back from custom dynamics
10. New rear tire (12K)
11. Corbin seat with heat

Finished yesterday, took it our for a spin, noticeable improvement in throttle response, LOUD with out P1 or P2 inserts, some back firing when off the throttle (Need the JB me thinks), cannot give opinion on Elkas yet, some ice on the road, so no twists yet.

I am psyched for Spyderfest now!!

That looks great, can't wait for our first Ryde in the spring to see it in person. After mods are done on silver star my first long Ryde will be to pick up trailer at trail master by ohare in Chicago April 14 if you want to go.

The middle toggle I added so I can turn my tire pressure monitor on and off. The system takes about 5 minutes to read each sensor so you have to look at a blinking red light on the dash for 5 minutes after each start up. I re-wired it so that it is on an unswitched circuit so I can turn it on at the beginning of the day, let it run through the sensors, then leave it on all day. Just need to remember to turn it off at the end of the day though! Not a huge draw, but if it were on for a few days it may draw the battery down.

Looking good! :firstplace: I was right by your place Saturday, took a ride up 67 to Johnson Creek. It was a great day for riding, 25 - 35 Deg, 260 miles:yes:. Looking forward to seeing the new and improved RT at our next group ride.

Thanks Lamonster,
Thanks for the Corbin recommendation, that seat makes a world of difference, have not had an all day ride yet, but so far I love it. Still dialing in the elkas, were set really stiff out of the box, I feel every little bump in the road right now. Where should I adjust to maintain the firmness in turns without having the front end respond to every small bump in the road?

Very Nice

:shocked:Teddy saw your updated ryde & he gave me "THAT" look:shocked: I told him he needed to get another job :p

Turn the black knob ( high speed compression) towards the left ( counter clockwise) 3 clicks to allow the shock to better absorb the bumps. Do not worry if the red knob turns as well, it is only affected if you are only turning the red.
