OK so the ususal questions,,, Where did it come from or what is it off of? How did you attach it/ what did you attach it to? I have an idea but I want to be sure! At any rate it's a very nice look!

The fender is off a 2009 Suzuki GSXR 1000. I had to make two brackets one mounted on the luggage rack aluminum housing and one on the fender then I bolted them together.

I made them out of 1/4 inch aluminum I used a band saw, belt sander,drill and drill and tap set. I had to drill and tap 13 holes. This part sucks getting them to lineup with all the angles is not easy :gaah:

The cool part is all you have to do to make the fender bracket is trace it. The fender lines up perfect with the luggage rack. This bracket will have to drill and tap 8 holes in all. Four to hold the fender, two to mount to your inner bracket and two holes to mount to your luggage rack.

The inner Bracket mounts to the luggage rack aluminum housing under the splash guard you will have to drill and tap 5 holes. 3 to mount to aluminum housing and 2 for fender bracket.

You will have to drill 2 holes in your splash guard and 2 in you luggage rack

Looks like those brackets aren't too easy to make.

Now, do you have any concerns about the belt being completely unprotected?

I think it is best to throw the belt guards away. What it does is when you throw a stone onto your belt it kinda guides it to your sprocket rather then letting it fly by. It doesn't eliminate the problem but it minimizes it. The open belt is definitely the way to go.
