• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Mark Hart at Hartco international made a seat for my 2011 RT-S. I've encouraged him to become a sponsor on SpyderLovers. I believe he will if he sees any interest. Www.hartcoseats.com. 386-698-4668.

Review..!!

Looks like a nice seat. Pictures are at a poor angle makes the passenger seat really small with backrest in place. No prices posted and not clear on fits all models. RT's or all models GS RS RSS and RT's. Let us know how your works out...and congrats on the new seat..:2thumbs:

I'm not exactly sure how much they will cost, but I think they will be reasonable--as far as motorcycle seats go. My seat was a "test" seat. I believe the seats will fit the RTS through 2013. I don't know if the 2014 seat is a different size shape. Mark likes to work in a one-to-one relationship, so website can't show customization.

Since spring failed to come to NC until now, I haven't given it a good ride. But locally, we really like it. The seats are made somewhat custom to inseam, etc. It crushes less than the stock seat which is good. We asked for the marine grade fabric seat because we've had that on our Gold Wing seat since 1993. No sweaty jeans in hot weather.

My husband with his tummy (190 lbs) fits on the passenger seat ok with the back rest. I think I sit back just a little farther than the stock seat when driving. It doesn't have a gas door like other seats have, but we wanted it that way. Fits tighter to the bike.

This is all I want to say only because I'm not wanting to give "unpaid" advertising since Hartco probably isn't a sponsor--yet.

Just a quick update. Had my first "longish" ride with my new seat with driver backrest. Love it!
