My new family member

Early this year we lost our Yorkie Terrier. At that time we said no more dogs but as time went on my wife and I began to feel an emptynes in our lives (we are empty nesters). So in October we got an Australian Labrododle. What a joy. His name is Tobie I hope. To train him to be a therapy dog when he gets older.

Great dogs. I enjoy spending time with my Shar Pei's as the boss and I could not go without a dog in the house either.

The Labradoodles started out by breeding labs with poodles. The American Labradoodle is still breed the same way. The Australian labradoodles are breed with other labradoodles so they have refined the breed for a specifics temperament. That is why they make excellent therapy dogs.

Cute pup... My wife and I always had small dogs but have not had another since we lost our last one about 6 or 7 years ago.

Cute dog. The ones I have been around have been great ones.

Don't let my wife see though. She wants that exact one in that color already and I'm not into getting another dog. Our toy poodle is enough and once he goes to the great dog park in the sky I hope to be done. We love him and all, but who do you think gets saddled with feeding, playing, cleaning up after, etc... at least he still sees me as the alpha.

If she wants a full size dog, she is gonna have to walk it as our yard is too small.

Of course in a few years you will probably see me post that we got one but it will be because :shemademe_smilie:
