• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

My neighbors hate me now...

The Two Bros is much louder than the Micron so it is on the bottom of the list of the system that are really available.

As for Tail Gunner I do not think they will have a system for sale anytime soon?

????????? Tailgunner????????

What is Lamonster using in the video? How can it not be availible?????

Loud exhaust

No one likes a scold least of all me. So please understand, do what you want with your exhaust pipe. But be informed too. Extended exposure to loud noise damages your hearing. I have lots of old patients who can't hear a damn thing and they're miserable! And so is everyone around them! Apparently long exposure to 85 db will damage your hearing and the stock pipe is around that level from what i have heard. I am no expert but you need to be careful! Also fellow drivers find loud bikes to be obnoxious! Wear earplugs at least and be polite.

The stock pipe is sooooo wimpy! I can hardly stand it! I almost won a TB dual carbon off ebay. I emailed Tg to see what they had in development.

I love my 2bros single can! I have the P1 tip in - It is not that loud until you really twist the throttle - then is sounds like a muscle car. Idling and tooling through town it sounds great, low deep growl.
I may have gotten used to it - but, it seems like it is not as loud as when I first heard it - I have around 2700 miles on it now and it sounds more mellow - great sound!

on my 2nd day on spyder i was told by70-80 year old man my spyder sounded like a sewing machine:(
that overwhelmed any worries i had about getting cited for loud pipe as i live in southern cal. i could not live like that anymore .
i got the hindle and i think its just loud enough and not too loud to get hassled.

It sounds softer cause you've lost some hearing! (okay just kidding ya)

If its too loud they may make a removable baffle that you could put in to please your neighbors and take out once your on the road :spyder:

Pipes

I have installed about 5 different mufflers looking for sound but not LOUD. The GSXR 1000 that I have on now sounds the best AND looks good to me. I found a brand new "take off' in Orange Park, FL.

Many helmets will expose your ears to more than 85db's of wind noise, road noise at freeway speeds, not counting exhaust. If you use helmet speakers instead of noise canceling ear buds then you really boost your db's when playing music.

You can tell the ones that don't use any hearing protection. When you pull over for a bite or fuel they will be yelling at you and not even realize it.

TBR P1

Just ordered the P1 Power Tip. Hopefully it'll tame the TBR V.A.L.E. at least a little. If not, I'll try to live with it or put the stocker back on for a month or so until I can afford something a little less Harley-like.:doorag::joke:

You are right about it being loud! :yikes:

But if you think your single can is loud you should here the Two Bros twin can system on our SE5!

Being a Two Bros dealer we tell everyone who asks us that the Two Bros systems are the loudest systems we sell, although a big name in exhaust systems you better want it loud or choose something else for sure.

We offer several other systems that do offer more sound but at a much lower level.

Two brothers twin carbon fiber exhaust it what I run in my Spyder. From the first time I heard it at the dealers, I fell in love. Not only does the bike attract people to look but the exhaust does too. I love the attention I get when riding. Now all I need to do is upgrade the brake, tail lights and side markers as well as the front wheel reflector/light upgrade. Also looking at my options for a sound system (will have to be loud to hear over the pipes.)

I'm with ya....love the hindle!

BRP Video

Anyone else watched the video of riding a Spyder on the BRP site? http://spyder.brp.com/en-CA/ The sound is not like the sewing machine I ride! Could it be they used a Hindle?

Actually, I am curious if folks think the sound is a Hindle. I'd like to upgrade to one, but have not heard one in person yet.
