My Nanny fell asleep on the job

I finally have my 2014 RTL handling like my 2008 GS did
I was never as comfortable riding aggressively on my RTL as I was on my GS
First I installed Baja Ron's anti sway bar That helped
Then I installed Baja Ron's shock adjuster and that also helped
Then I felt like I could not keep my body on the bike because it turned so well
Then I installed a drivers back rest and Rivco Highway pegs
before all of these Nanny would always slap me in the back of the head when taking turns too fast
Now I can take a turn posted 35MPH at 65MPH and some at 70MPH and Nanny just stays asleep:yes::yes:

I don't have the shock adjusters, but I have the other stuff. I can still get Nanny to jump up now and then. But I don't recommend riding fast on a twisty, muddy dirt road just to test it.

The mods have added "stability" to the vehicle, so the nanny sensors are not sensing anything they are programmed to be scared of.

This means you have your machine calibrated very well IMO. Nice job!

Sounds similar to what I have been trying to do to my 2013 ST-S, to get it to rail like my 2008 GS. It is now very close. The RT would be even more off mark, so it is impressive you have gotten it working that well.

Yes it was hard to find the right combination
The shock adjusters and the sway bar worked great but the riding position of the RT with floor boards just was not as easy to take hard turns
With the drivers back rest and the rivco highway pegs I can press against the highway peg on the inside of the turn making that tire dig in and brace myself against the back rest pushing my weight [lost of it :roflblack: ] to the opposite side so the wheel does not lift
Nanny never knows I 'm doing it
It's like a new ride all over again
