• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Arrived at 5:30 installed by 6 pm ( I cheated and had the old seat off ;)) spent another 1/2hr getting the latch pin lined up not much adjustment besides a BFH (rubber). Now to sell the stock one with the Utopia back rest on it in the background.

Nicely done..!!

looks very nice. Good planning helps with installations...congrats..!! :2thumbs: good luck selling your old seat...

FWIW, and it may just be the funny glare, but it looks like the front fork on the Schwinn is installed backwards. Seat looks very though.

It was road kill I picked it up and brought it home to refurb. Good eye.

Here is a tip for Ultimate owners. If your backrest rattles at rest ( believe they all do with no back load on them) wrap just below the swivel plate with good scotch electrical tape about two wraps wide around 10 wraps around it and slide it back in. No more rattle.

Not installed backwards... the whole front wheel is just turned around. Look at the handlebar... :doorag:

As I mentioned in my post, the fork is backwards. Call it what you like but it is not correct. Pretty typical department store build. The bars and stem are positioned correct...the fork assembly, including the wheel is 180 out, note the leading axle is aft and the V brakes are aft, even the cable route is jacked. To me this is backwards. Simple fix, loosen two bolts, maybe one, spin it and retighten. No big deal, see it all the time, and Dave will handle it however he sees fit. Maybe he plans to do circus tricks on account of the shorter wheelbase.

It ( front wheel) was spinning when I rescued it all I did was a quick allen tighten and paid no attention as I had shifters to replace and brakes to fix. It is spun around now and all shifters and brakes are fixed toss you over the handle bars fixed. Now to find a deserving person to gift it too. It was just sumthin' to do for me.
