• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Someone else posted this mod also but I wanted to share some of my pictures. I wanted to be able to tell which turn single light was on. With the he stock indicator you can’t really tell.
The LED from Radio Shack $.199 each.

My new GPS. I didn’t need or want a Bluetooth enabled GPS so I picked this one up through Sam’ Club for about $130, Nuvi 1450. It is not made for a motorcycle, but it works. I figure if it starts raining I can take it off and put in my pocket. What I like about it is the large screen. The RAM mounts work great, no vibration. Here are some pictures

Got a tip for your GPS and rain, carry a zip-lock bag and ties cover it when it rains if you are using it.

Indeed... over 10,000 miles with my 1350t Garmin on a Ram mount... and a couple thousand of those miles were in the rain, drizzle or torrential down pours... Zip Lock plus rubber bands (carry extra of each), and mine is still going strong... Only downside is changes in elevation tend to fog the inside of the bag as the temperature changes and the GPS does put off a slight amount of heat.

Nice report. Nice execution:thumbup::thumbup: (2 thumbs up. ok... they're both on the left cause I'm left handed)
