There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Just kidding, happened all the time when I first got the Spyder, not as much anymore. You are a Rockstar now

Had it happen twice, but they did not want me in the shot. First time when I took it to work, two of the office girls got on (without permission), and took a pic to put on F/B. Second time at Church two of the guys took a photo standing in front of the spyder. Wait, just remembered. Pastors wife got on (with permission), and I took a pic with my phone. So I guess my spyder is the rock star, and not me

Happened to me today as I was leaving a restaurant. Last year I had someone try to take my picture as I was doing 70+ on the interstate and they were along side driving a car.
All the time,
But most times they want me out of the shot, I been told that with me in the picture it ruins the sleek lines of the Spyder.:dontknow:

Same for me, When i first bought the spyder 2 yrs. ago i was ryding on a 80 kph road [ 50 mph] and i was wondering why this guy was trying to hand me his cell phone. Then i realised he was taking my picture

When we first got Nancy's GS, I had a lady trucker swing out of the cab of her 18-wheeler at a stoplight, stand on the running board, and snap pictures with her phone. I also had some kids in a car parallel me going down the road, with one hanging half his body out the window snapping pics. Things have calmed down now, but some folks still take pics now and then. The main channel/prime time TV commercials seem to have renewed interest.

Where I ride to is an ocean/coastline lookout. (Check my photo album)
Bus loads of chinese and japanese tourists come thru all the time.
They all want to take photos and lots of them try to sit on her (without even asking). :lecturef_smilie:
Every day when I get home I've got to wipe her over to get all the fingerprints off :gaah:
Go figure...why do they have to touchy-feely. :dontknow:
