There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. My favorite little sandwich/coffee shop in Markleville has closed. Served a superior bagel and lox meal for a reasonable price. Had a good meal across the street though.
Perfect riding weather with perfect company.....

Yes, I have had some of my favorites little mom and pop food stops close.
Most say that the times have come to the end. No one wants to enjoy the hard work of life and the food places.

Usually the third generation is All about the Mighty Dollar. The 'Free Spirit' aditude is a real problem for our under 30 population in USA.
Just saying about that story. (y)

I have heard of the place you are talking about. And that they were a really good Deli. Every time I have been through Markleville, they're usually are always a bunch of bikes lined up there. I have often thought I need to check them out. Thing is that usually we have already stopped for lunch in Walker at Walker Burger, while Markleville is on the route home.

I was just there about a month ago. I live in Modesto, so my route is usually over Sonora Pass to Walker. Then Monitor/Kit Carson Pass to Jackson, then home. Another option to come home is Monitor to Ebbits to Murphy's then home.

Little Blue said it right. Here in Washington State the minimum wage by law goes up a certain amount every year. It's now $17 an hour. Even at Mac Donalds you start out at that wage. Then you hear all the people bitching about the cost of everything keeps going up so much. The kids don't want to work for that. They want more but you see them not working worth a crap.
Well you have to pay those wages so you raise the price to cover your expenses. The people that work, the price to have the product farmed or made, when the wage keeps going up so does the things you want. I never made anything close to that kind of money. I never got paid overtime, just straight hr. time even when I worked 65 hrs a week. I learned after some yrs of work to cut back my hrs. TAxes ate into my earnings real fast. Boss didnt like it much but I would rather get more money in my check that give so much to the smart guys that make the laws. Yes place keep closing here in my state. Cant afford to stay open. Now they trying in more places to get the wage to $25 per hr. If they get it alot more of the mom and pop places will close. They call it progress. Sorry for the rant.

That is why less and less customers are frequenting and the business economics tip from positive to negative and stuff closes. It is amazing to me the number of young people that don't really work at anything. I'm 68 and when I was a teen, to earn money and have some control of what I bought, saved... that was a big deal for me. It has stayed with me all my life, working hard to support a family and to support retirement without being a burden. Times have changed for sure.

WisconsinDavid, Thats right kids want everything given to them. Most of them have no clue how to do a good job, some even treat a person like cant you do it. Hell no I don't work here. I worked for company for 39 an half yrs. Over 11 yrs I got paid $9.50 an hr When I finished working there not even a good by. No retirement, no 401, nothing. But I was up to $10.50 per hr. Took almost 15 yrs before I got a week vacation. Longer than that before I got paid holidays. If you took off the holiday then they expected you to work Sat. to make up the day off. Yep m 72 an be a yr older in couple weeks. HAd to work all my life for what I wanted. Oh well time sure have changed.
