• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

My Dealer

I rode over on my 2012 Victory Cross Country yesterday. I had a bout of back trouble and knee pains again for a few days (overdid it working on & around the house). I was thinking maybe I would get to see a new 2014 Spyder RT in the flesh so to speak. Wrong, he only had a used blue 2010 RT he had taken in on trade and a new black ST Limited as well as a black RT622 trailer. That's it, nada nothing. His website lists a dozen 2014 RT models in his current inventory so go figure. He either doesn't keep his website up to date or the entire inventory is still in the crates.

I have also noted the same. Most dealers just show the BRP line up and do not say that they may or may not be in inventory. The line up showing implies they have everything in stock. Hardee Har Har! :roflblack:

I ran into that here. They ordered 2 Spyder RT's for the year, and not even in the color that I had pre-ordered. Almost ended up going to a different dealer over it.

I also went to some other dealers sites, and noted the same thing. It's not your dealer, but seems to be the way the dealers do internet business. A trust but verify call is needed if you are going to travel any distance to wheel and deal.

EDIT: PS I also noted everything shown either was at MSRP or not $ listed at all.

Sneaky..!!

salesmanship. Like those price leaders...cars at killer prices but..stock# sold who knows when but they got you there and will now try to sell you something else. Call first they are less likely to lie to you knowing your coming down...

Sales Tactic Perhaps

Lucky for me he's only 15 miles from my home. Sounds like this is pretty common practice to list all and have little or none in the showroom. The website lists them as being currently in stock but apparently that's not the case. Anyhow my body aches & pains will someday force me to a three wheel bike, that's inevitable. Here lately I'm thinking that day isn't far off.

When the time comes you will really like the :spyder2:. I sadly had to say good bye to my Vulcan 900 LTD in the summer of 2012. The upside, I traded for a new 2011 for Akspyderlady. I sadly miss not being able to try the F6B, the new Valkerie, and of course an Indian Chieftain. I know there are going to be many more on the horizon.

The 2014 RTS is everything I hoped it would be and still keeps me "in the groove."

Indian Chieftain

I actually got to demo a 2014 Indian Chieftain back in May. The dealer in Maumee Ohio had the factory demo truck there and three buddies & I rode up there for the event. The Chieftain was a very impressive ride to say the least. In fact I had been considering it right up to this latest bout of back & leg pain which has brought me back to the reality of having three wheels on my next ride. I'm not going to be disappointed by going to a Cam AM Spyder.
