• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I'm having a problem starting my can -am when I go to start it I put the key in and it reads BAD KEY so I watched some videos and I found it says maybe its the little round thingy that goes around the ignition where you insert the key. So I took that off and I play with it just a little then I decided to check the wiring then I noticed that whatever wire that connects to has been cut or came loose. I'm looking to see where does the wire connect to and is this the problem.

Some of the earlier Can Am's had problems with ignitions and it had to do with an antenna wire that lost contact with the DESS or some such. They replaced a couple on my first '11 RT. Make sure that "wire" is not supposed to be loose.

Did you try both keys and it wouldn't start? Just wondering if somehow, the chip in the key went bad>
