There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Murphy Brown needs help from locals

Looks like she hit a rock and no dealers close by. If you can help give her a call.

Karyl Oules (Murphy Brown) (509) 630-0836
Split rim in Phillipsberg or burg Kansas.

I just talked to her. She and Fred are at the side of the road about 10 miles out of Phillipsburg, Kan., waiting on roadside assistance to arrange a hauler to take her and her Spyder and trailer to a motel in Phillipsburg. The nearest dealer is about 200 miles away in Lincoln, Neb, but they're closed until Tuesday. I think Len is on the case to help her find a rim and tire.

I'm glad Fred is with her to keep her company.

I'm in McCook, NE tonight and can change plans to go down and help, but how???? If anyone has any idea what I might be able to do to help let me know. Otherwise I'll continue on through south Nebraska toward St Joseph, MO. Then on to SF!!!

Thanks everyone so much

About ready to call it a day. Quick update. Roadside could not locate a roll back. Finally they called phillipsburg, KS police. Found local with trailer. But trailer to narrow. Decision made to leave Spyder I seriously considered spending nite "under the stars" but we pushed off shoulder of road, covered and praying will be golden. Len, Pitbull, got everything organized. I'll get picked up in am. Trailered to Pitbull and whit will mount new wheel. I hit a rock about size of a small melon...ugh. Thanks sooo much. Bod and brain done for day

Sorry to hear...

Glad your alright and handled the situation so well. Seems things are well in hand and hope your be up and running shortly...:thumbup::thumbup:

I'm glad you didn't sleep beside your Spyder last night, Karyl. Good on Len for sending the cavalry for you. :thumbup: I guess Fred will ride along with you. If that will all be today, that'll be a long day for him. I'll see you both at Springfield. :ohyea:

Glad your ok. And a plan is in place to rescue you. Way to go Len! See you all Tuesday. :thumbup: Tom :spyder:

Glad to here your OK... Do we need to change LYN's name to Jim Dandy I thin the song says it all "Jim Dandy to the Rescue" we sure don't have a dealer
here in Colorado that would do that for anyone. Hope the rest of you trip turn out for the best Enjoy SPYDERFEST :thumbup: jtpollock

The Pitbull dealership sure does go the extra mile (and then a few hundred more) to help its loyal customers.

Good on you !! :yes::yes::yes:

I am glad you are ok and will see you in Springfield... It is wonderful the great support we have as a Spyder family, people always there to help in a time of need..... :clap::clap:

Really glad to hear you are OK. Could have been bad. Also glad Fred was with you.

Len and Pitbull are first class and really stepping up. As it should be but not everyone is that good. They are GOOD.

Wow Karyl, glad you are OK!

I remember when I posted a thread about carrying a spare wheel with me on road trips and people made fun of me, what a stupid/useless idea etc. Really glad you found help and didn't get stranded for long.

Which will would you carry? Front or back - tire mounted or not?

Hi Karyl;
Sorry to hear of your situation but you are one tough lady and if anyone can handle the stress of this type you can. Sounds like you have all under control,keep us informed as you will be in our thoughts.

Apologies to Murphy Brown for a partial hijack of her post.

I now have a reasonably sized trailer & have been pondering this.

If you take a front wheel with tire on (oem one) it will only correctly go on one of the front axles.

I have a spare rear rim with a new Kumho installed on it & also 2 front rims & 2 non installed spare Kenda oem tires.

Will probably take a spare front tire & the rear rim with the Kumho on it when I tour the north shore of the St Lawrence as far as Baie Comeau then ferry over & circle the Gaspe this summer. Plus a jack, lug wrench, torque wrench, kitchen sink etc & I have a spare battery.
