• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Can anyone recommend a set of grip muffs that work on the 2013 RT? Hippo Hands makes a set that looks good, but, according to their web site: " For both the Spyder and Spyder SE5. Does not fit the RT model." Sure would be nice to have a good set this winter!

Call harvey at Spyderpops, he has the foam grip covers that work great and allow the heated grips to work as designed.

Thanks . . . Firstgear Thermo Suit is on the way from Baja Ron, and I ordered a Nolan N104 helmet to replace my Fulmer 75B that I was wearing in hot weather. I'm going on a long ryde the 16th, up into Pennsylvania and am looking forward to it.

I was looking to order the Hippo Hands from their web sight. The units them selves were $79.99 and they wanted $21.95 for shipping. I cant see how shipping two pieces of nylon should cost almost $22.00.:banghead:

Send a message to, "SethO". He lives up here in Northern Minnesota. Rides year round. I know he uses gauntlets. I don't know which brand.

Handlebars

I agree somewhat about the Hippo Hands, but the shipping expense could be because of shipping from Canada eh? We have Hippo Hands for our daily scooter drivers and they are marvelous. Now, what Spyder Dude said. I use some handlebar muffs meant for an ATV like the link he provided. Between the mild winters down south and snowmobile gloves and heated grips, they haven't really seen much use. Planning a trip sometime in the cold to Lamonster Garage so the muffs and Gerbings should earn their keep then.
