• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Mud flap and hitch deflector

I had the hitch deflector on for a while and it really reduces the amount of sand and grit that sprayed all over the bike. This weekend I added this mud flap extender that gets the last of it. It was cut from a plastic trailer fender and mounts with two screws that are hidden up behind the license plate via 2 aluminum flat bars. In normal light you literally cannot see it unless you get up close and look hard. It covers everything but about a 1/2" on either side but that is the rounded shoulder of the tire that does not through dirt or spray.

I re-trimmed the deflector to allow the fender to pass up and down without interfering. Hopefully this stops all the sand and mud that gets all over the front of my trailer.
