• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Move the Fuel point?

Has anyone ever tried to move the fuel point from under the seat to under the glove box lid? Just sitting here and that poped in my head since I don't use the glove box anyway.

Curious...
I'm not sure about everything that they've got tucked up under there...
You might also find yourself with a better chance of getting up against your Tupperware and damaging the paint if you have to lift the nozzle and hose up that much highter to get to the filler...
But This idea is interesting; time to take a closer look! :2thumbs:

Like a bike..!!

That would be like the old bikes. Seems with the doors you can add to the RT there would be no need. The spyders are a little wide to fill up with out getting off. But if you do it do send pic's....

The safety issue of filling up while sitting astride the bike comes to mind for me. I always get off the bike, and being vertically challenged, like the current fill position.

If you do make the mods, pictures would be great.

Since the frame runs right under the glove compartment, and above the fuel tank, some "creative plumbing" would be required. I think the first bend of the filler tube would be too sharp to fit a fuel nozzle down it.
