Before I went to Iraq I took my 1 year old truck, moth balled the hell out of it, and covered it. When I returned the mice and chipmunks had done over $1000 worth of damage to the electrical system. I had a chainsaw of a cat but I don't think he liked trucks so the critters had a great time. What was even worse is around here we have coyotes, fisher cats and predatory owls. They were worthless!

Now I shoot the chipmunks and use professional mouse poison - they're still everywhere around here!

We use fabric softener sheets in the motorhome to keep mice away.

Yes, after a 35 foot motorhome and now a 26 foot tow behind trailer, both stored in the same place for almost 10 years now, NO MICE PROBLEMS, DRYER BOUNCE SHEETS, is the answer, cheap and smell good, also easy clean up when ready to use unit again.

Maybe put some D-CON under an upside down shoe box with little doors cut into it..That way pets can't get to it..

I use D-CON in my out buildings. I put a pan of water near by the D-COM in the building. They go to water after eating the D-CON. This way all the dead mice are easy to find, they are at the water pan. That's IMHO.

Somewhere in another thread a few days ago I saw mention of putting sticky traps under the bike. It might take a few but if they can't get to it they can't get into it. I've been leaving the seat up and if I don't ride I run him about twice a week. So far so good.
