• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Mounting flags

Has anyone found a simple way to mount flags on the Spyder??? My 2011 red spyder has no luggage racks so now what? Any ideas would be appreciated.

I've has the large SpyderFest flag on my RT mounted on the bottom of the antenna. I used zip ties to secure it and put a couple above the flag on the antenna to keep it from riding up. It's been on there for almost a month with no problems.
Just make sure your antenna is down tight.

Papa, RT or RS? You might go look at ISCI (scroll down the page when you get there). Same part# for RT and RS. Pricey but folks have been happy with them. That is if you are looking at the small flags. Personally, I would not tie anything on the antenna.

BTW, Welcome aboard. Join us at one of our "Meet-and-Eats".

I have a Riva dual flag holder that mounts behind the license plate with adjustable poles. A lot of the fixed poles will hit the trunk when mounted on the license plate area.

I have a luggage rack I got from Inspector Gadget. I mounted two flags (11x15) to it and everything seems to work well. Gusty winds will cause the one on the right to hit the antenna but seems to fly just fine.
