There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Most amount of miles/KM you have ridden in one day on the Spyder

Hey folks. I would love to know the most amount of miles or KM you have ridden on your Spyder in one day. And did any of you drive all night long. Just share Spyder miles, not miles on another type of motorcycle. But do share any great stories about where you went or why you went so long at once.

Coming back from New England states to Ky. Left far eastern part of Pennsylvania and drove to Southern Ky. 780 miles. Had some darkness last hour or so. Did it on 2022 F3L Limited with standard comfort seat. Felt ok for the ride.

On my Out West Trip in 2018 biggest day was 843 miles. Next day was 743 miles, then i was in Colorado. Had 3 days around 800- 810 miles on a 2-week trip. I have a Russell DayLong seat. Alot of it is mind over matter type of thinking and the will to push on. I've done 2 Iron Butt 1,000 saddle sore rides on my 2-wheeler. None on Spyder yet. 2-week trip had about 7,800 miles for highlight areas of Colorado, Yellowstone, and Badlands. Go faster where you don't want to be, to get to scenic areas.

There are a few "iron butt" people here. They will be the top guns I am sure.

In our years of :spyder2: ownership I would say 500 was about the top for a days travel. That would have been on our trip from Eagle River AK to Skagway AK via the Yukon Territories. When I bought my first Spyder in 2008, I was a young 63 years.

Picked up my Time Out trailer from the factory in Elkhart, IN and took the scenic route back down to Clinton, MS. 16 hours to get home and slightly over 900 miles. Had not exactly planned it that way, if I had I would have gotten receipts and turned it into an iron butt by adding a few more miles. Of course, I have been known to turn a 700 mile trip into 1,100 miles. Sometimes you just have to love Garmin's adventurous mode.

Lamont and I coming back from a trip to California. 1st day, San Diego to Albuquerque, NM. 770 miles.

2nd day. Albuquerque, NM to Greeneville, TN. 1,457 miles.

I rode my 2008 GS SM5. I don't remember which Spyder Lamont rode. He's had so many. But he was pulling his Can-Am trailer.

That was one to remember. No one ever believes me when I tell the story. But they always believe Lamont when he tells it. Never quite figured that one out...:dontknow:

Wow…..1457miles (2300km), Ron:shocked:. That’s about half the eastern coastline out here, and most Aussies would do 3 x 800km days (or perhaps 2 x 1200km) even in a car. Very, very impressive to do that in a single hit

And the old bull said to the young bull, why don't we walk down the hill vs your suggestion of running down and mount one, and mount them all.

I was during a trip out west in 2017. There was 4 of us riding and one day we went 650 miles was our longest, on a trip that we took in 28 days and covered 9300 miles. We visited many National Parks during that trip.

Spring City to Sturges in one day 723 miles on my 2012 RTL. That was back in 2015 for the 75th anniversary of the Rally. I couldn't do that today, but the Spyder probably could. I was amazed at how much easier it was to eat up the miles on that Spyder. And I still had time and energy to set up a new tent and make a (simple) dinner.

My wife and I rode our F3’s from Townsend, TN back to DFW - about 910 miles or so. Left before sunrise and got home after sunset. I had done the same trip before on a Honda Shadow Aero 750.

Probably one and done... 1,056 miles!

Left Springfield, Missouri and rode to Tuscaloosa, Alabama to complete a Saddle Sore 1,000. Left at 8:00-ish AM and arrived at 5:00-ish AM back in September 2022, after the Spyder Rally in Nixa, Missouri. Certified by the IBA and Long Distance Riders. The last few hours were the toughest for me. My hubby worked plenty of midnight shifts before he retired, so it didn't bother him. I rode my 2018 F3 Limited. Last year when we left for Alaska, our first day was from western PA to Davenport, Iowa and it was around 625 miles. This year, my longest was 363 miles... I suffered a subarachnoid hemorrhage August of 2023, and it has been a long recovery. Not sure I have all the stamina I previously had... time will tell... that 363 miles was earlier this week... so maybe just maybe...

I'm the newbie, with only about 300 total miles on my Spyder at this point.
I purchased my Spyder in April, and after it was delivered I have been driving it around town getting used to being on a motorcycle again, after more than 30 years of only riding on four.

My longest day was when I drove my Spyder to the dealer to ask about the BRP Carplay offer in person, as my Salesman doesn't really respond to emails and is always busy when I call.
Round trip to-and-from the dealer is about 150 miles.

I am planning a trip to a restaurant a friend suggested, although it's less than 90 total miles.
The first 25 miles is a state highway, so two lanes in each direction with a wide median, then turns off onto a somewhat twisty road with a single lane in each direction.

And next Spring I may head down to Madison, Alabama to catch a minor league baseball game, which will be about 300 miles round trip.
The Rocket City Trash Pandas, a Double A team associated with the Los Angeles Angels, if anyone is interested.

I'm also considering a trip to Annapolis, Maryland which will be about 1,400 miles round trip.
And next year a trip to the Dallas, Texas area which will be about 1,500 miles round trip.

Baby steps. My trips are baby steps.

Longest I have done in one day was a little over 1100 miles by myself and 496 with the Wife on the back. Turned 76 this years so doubt I will better those number anytime.

Unknown miles. However, most grueling ride was returning from southern most point of Key West FL in Feb 2015 in torrential rains (cold February rain) The last leg of the trip - from Baton Rouge to home. Original Kenda on the rear that was going bald & hydroplaning often (nanny not happy) :gaah: 50mph was optimal. Tire was replaced the following month at 15,536 miles. Still a good trip - Goal achieved!

**I'd had the Spyder less than a year then!**

In 2014 Sue and I did a 680 mile ride from Central PA to home. Half the ride in the rain. This year our longest is 440 miles so far.
