• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

More visible color...red or magnesium metallic?

I don't mean to be argumentative but what issues has BRP not dealt with? While there may be isolated, individual problems that they haven't addressed, in my opinion BRP has addressed most of the pervasive problems quite well. On mine the power steering has been recalled, the grommets on the side panels have been replaced and glued in, and the throttle body has been replaced on warranty. I've ridden other brands that simply ignored problems and claimed they didn't exist. Not so with BRP.

Cotton

here's one issue below they need to fix although "isolated" as you say this malfuntion darn near killed this lady. and the other issues that i meant to be fixed is as everyone knows is the t.b. and limp home mode. both of which can cause injury to someone expecially at 70mph or better. someone here at s.l. said if you want to experience limp mode run down the freeway at 70+ and hit your cutoff switch then pray the person in the cage behind you is paying attention and don't hit you. then sit there and tell me brp is addressing these issues yes they maybe dealing with these known issues but they are not fixed 100%. i would say fix the probems so they become an isiolated incident and not a common one.give me at least 10seconds to pull off the road before shutting down the bike on me.then after all this is done then lets talk colors. but what good is a color if it don't work any better then the colors that are out there now. how good is a green and yellow or whatever color you can think of is going to look like when your bike is mangled up. well i'm done taking about this sorry ev1 but i had to vent it out over this please forgive me about this.but i feel this is true.

My wife and I were riding to Charleston SC on 22April. It was raining hard but no worst than what we have ridden in before. During the ride on I 95 the traffic slowed down I slowed but my wife riding behind me couldn't stop or slow down. We were connected via Bluetooth and all could hear saying was "She want stop, she want stop!" my wife hit the breaks, down shifted and even hit the red shut off button and instead she kept going revving up instead of slowing down. My wife avoided hitting me in the rear by swerving to left and then somehow she went back on highway and the bike flipped. Throwing her off and rolling on my wife. Thank GOD no cars hit her and she walked away with only bruises to her legs, sprained left wrist and whiplash.
My question has any other can am owners had this problem where the bike will not stop no matter what they did? Need answers and help before someone else experience what my wife experienced but worst.

I think that the Blue shows up passably well... I run with the foglights on and have changed out the fendertip lights to white LEDs to help with visibility...

I like the blue also! :2thumbs:
