• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

More video - my view Silverton to Ouray, CO

Very nice and beside SethO finally a ryding video @ high speed :thumbup:

Now, you guys know we didn't hit that road all that hard ...:yikes: Speed on the posted video is 2X :opps:

It still was fun, wasn't it?

I loved that video. That is one of my favorite stretches of road.

I am however concerned about something. I have been trying to get my wife, it is her spyder, to never cross a yellow line or even touch a yellow line. Granted she is a newbie with respect to throttle time. Nothing troubles me more than crossing the yellow.

I assume that the folks in this video are experienced spyder drivers and as stated above, the downloaded video speed was 2X. So if both of those things are true it would lead me to believe that all that yellow touching and crossing is due to the cornering affect of the Spyder. That is not a comforting thought.

Well don't hate me, but I'm a fan of yellow crossing if the conditions are right. When I can clearly see there is no one coming, then I'll cut the yellow just to make the ride smoother. To each their own, I suppose. I'm big on safety, and I don't see an issue when I can see well ahead and there is clearly no one there.

I am not a hater and I agree, to each his own, I will ride with you anytime, just ride behind me so I don't have an uncomfortable feeling in my gut when you cross yellow.

I just saw the Bill gets Bent video. That's the kind of crossing that scares the :cus: Out of me.

Anyway not offense intended

I agree with Andy on this one. Although I cut the corners at times, I always did it when the road was clear. As for the sped up video, that was purely for the enjoyment of the viewer. I don't think we got above 25 except on the long straights - sharp curves were 12-15mph.

I guess the effect is different if one is doing it vice watching ...

Sorry about the sound guys. I turned it way down because all I got was wind. I haven't got the trick of adding music yet.
