Hi Everyone
Well I said I had a story to tell you so here goes,
Last April I got a call from a fellow " I have never met" who wanted me to come to his home
and take a look at his car for some upholstery work, I don't usually make house calls for cars
because generally they drive them to the shop so I can take a look see.... well I got to this fellows house
and he opened the garage and pulled out this super 1940 Ford and for all yo Chevy guys it is all Corvette
running gear LS engine 6 speed the works, after talking with him for a while I learned he built the car mostly
by himself... his garage is giant and is set up with everything you could ever want if you are a car guy or gal
this man is 90 years old he started the car when he was 85 it is now complete and fantastic......
He noticed the SEMA member logo on my shirt and said quote, I have wanted to go to the SEMA show since
it was held at Dodger Stadium in the 60's, I looked at him and said anyone who is as big of a car nut as you
and your 90 years old should go to the SEMA Show so I contacted SEMA they approved him and we took him
this year to Las Vegas to the 2015 show, He had a blast I am not even sure he needed the scooter we rented
for him. I can not tell you how honored I was to have him with us this year, and as you can see he had a great time.
The people in the photos are from the left picture My son Sean Son inlaw John, Jack Hoffman in the scooter and
John D' Agostino next... well you know, Girls sure put a grin on his face and next Jack was saying he has House of Color
paint on his car, I know the owner of House of Color sso while the guys kept him busy I shot over to the H of C booth
and got John aside ( the owner) and told him this story and he opened the doors and gave Jack the biggest ole suprise
when we got to his booth as you can tell good ole Jack was one happy man..... The rest of the show was great and we all
had a great time... more pictures to follow ( I do not know why some are sideways )
