• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

JMO and observation i installed some E3 spark plugs in my 2009 scion XB they say better gas mileage and more power. Well when i removed the old plugs {which only had 3000 miles on them} they were NGK IRIDIUM which are really good to begin with. so i put the new plugs in and yes their was some great increase in hp. I can not say anything about gas mileage improvement cause i have not checked yet. i mention this because their are guys and gals looking for more power in their spyder. I dont know what plug the spyder uses so i will post the website and maybe somebody can do a cross reference. These plugs are pregapped if you look at them you will see why. Maybe somebody will try them and give a report if they have ones that fit. www.e3sparkplugs.com.:clap::clap:

I run them in all my lawn equipment. I did notice things seem to start better and run better with them.

Yes i have read that my car does not have that i was on another website and it mentioned which cars have it. if i find it again i will post it. So if the spyder has anti knocking i would not use it. hdx do you know what type of plugs are in it.

IF(not getting into ANOTHER heated discussion here) the Spyder utilizes an ion sensing anti knock system, split electrode plugs are known to cause havoc with it. Any changes to the stock resistance in the secondary ignition circuit(wires and plugs) will cause problems.....
I'd really like to learn more about the Spyder's engine management systems from BRP........

I had a feeling I was gonna see a post from you on this thread. We gotta get BRP to let us into the system - gotta do some powercommander type thingy on the :spyder:and we need to be able to get in and create our own maps. This BUDS stuff is all b.s. if you ask me. That's how they got us by the b@lls.

Same here would not mind digging into this buds thing and having a talk with it!:shemademe_smilie: and then blame it all on the CT CONNECTION. you know who you are.
