Well, we got through the championship games today and it looks like it will be the Patriots vs. the Giants.

My favorite teams went down early on so I favor the Giants only slightly over the Patriots. Not because they are necessarily the better team--but I like Manning over Brady as a QB.

The statisticians a couple weeks ago stated it would be a sweep for the Ravens--but they turned out to be wrong.

Somehow, my 15 year old son has become a Patriots fan. It's my fault for moving to CT before he was born.

It seems that the last few times the Giants and the Patriots met, the Giants have one.
According to my son it was just dumb luck.

Did you know that Y.A. Tittle is still alive. I bet he's a happy guy.

And so am I.

Just my opinion, I could be wrong.

How about that National Anthem in the first game? I hear they are discussing it a bunch on the internet.

IMO: it was pretty bad. Sung off key pretty bad in some places. I will say--our National Anthem is very difficult for most people to sing because of the range of the melody--but--then again--why not get people to sing it who can?

I thought that the Young Lady who sang the Anthem at the Giants/SF Game did a great job without All the Ads libs and It made me proud as someone who ran a National Guard Band for 22 years to see it sung the way its written with only one extra high note.nojoke
