• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Friday I received a box from Reggie and this week the installation begins. I picked up the LED running lights, fender strips, Vader headlights and white tips. I'm not crazy about the wire connectors provided so I ordered PosiTaps and will wait till they arrive for the install. Any tips that will make these installs go well will be gratefully accepted. The LED running lights have a small led lit rocker switch. My question is - do you wire these lights as "on" all the time or do you wire with the provided switch - to turn on or off? I have only seen these on one bike and they are connected thru the Tips and work as turn signal too. I am not installing tips at this time.

Well not sure if i am any help but id put the tips in they make a big diff. Try 1 an see how bright they are. an i dont have my finder lights as turn cause i have mud flap LEDs as running an turn and inside my mirrors also and uper A frame turn LEDs. i plan on making my vader wings with a on/off soon cause i could leave them on as we r eating or something they take very little power. I am sure they would b great for turn lights as they r very bright some complain there to bright but i luv them. an as far as the possi taps i have used them for years luv them.2012-12-31_10.33.16.jpg2012-12-31_10.32.53.jpg2013-01-14_18.11.15.jpg

:congrats: on the latest farkling episode! I know nothing about wiring; but I'd almost want to suggest that you keep them as "switchable" just in case you find yourself in a jurisdiction that doesn't take kindly to them.
It's nice to have the option to turn them off...

Switchable...

:agree: There are other reasons, daylight lights are less effective/visable and put a load on the electrical system. You can decide when they will enhance you ryde best...:2thumbs:
