• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Moonshine Lunch Run

This has been posted in the General Discussion but I thought I would see how many from Indiana are planning on going. If you have never been, it's a fun meet in the middle of nowhere at this little country store that serves great burgers. There will be riders there from all over the country.
It's April 13th, a week before Spyderfest so it will be a good tune up for that. Let's try to get a group together for the ride over.

I wish I could go to this, but with me taking vacation for spyderfest soon after, there is no way I would get the weekend off to attend. :banghead:

THE DARK CORNER

the ONLY true MOONSHINE RIDE would have to take place in THE DARK CORNER of South Carolina... check this out: http://www.scetv.org/index.php/southern_lens/show/the_dark_corner/
awesome history of Bootlegging and Moonshine...

I'm in could possibly ride out together. Be a nice warm up for the big one. Plus the wife gets to see her family.... and if she's happy I'm happy:roflblack:

4+ hours for a burger? Maybe a juicy steak, but a burger. I'm out!
See everyone the following weekend.;)
Enjoy!!!

The Food Network says these burgers are among the best in the country, I've been there twice, they ARE good, but to stand in the center of the intersection where the store is and see motorcycles lined up for a quarter mile in all directions, and met with people from all over the country who came mostly for a burger puts a whole new light on it. It's about 15 miles south of Martinsville IL, we can stop on the way to Spyderfest, too.

I will be going to MLR this year again. Leaving Fri. and staying over night. If you decide to go remember to bring your Frogg Toggs. It rained all the way home from Moonshine. Have a great one!

So anyone riding out next weekend, and what time?

Yes, I think a few of us are going. Leaving Saturday morning, not sure what time yet. I'm thinking around 10-10:30. We will probably meet at the Love's truck stop at exit 59 on I70 west. It's on the norheast side of the exit. Will post more when plan comes together. You are welcome to ride with us.

Sounds good...just pick the time...I'll be there.

Looks like mid-50's and dry according to the long-range forecast...but that's just Indy...I assume it will be 70's and balmy in Moonshine. :sour:

Any last minute joiners for the run? You know what they say, " If you don't make the lunch run, you're not a motorcycle rider, you're just a motorcycle owner. " Almost 900 signed up from all over the country.
