• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Monster Fi - video test clips - RT ecu

:thumbup:Well link worked for me too:clap: But surly was not on OEM tires:lecturef_smilie:
:roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::shocked: :congrats: Tho

No problems here with viewing it.
But a more useful video, would be one in which some side by side comparisons were tun.,
Line up a stock bike, and one with your chip. Let them duke it out on video!
The comparison would tell everybody a whole lot!

We live a few miles apart. Hopefully test this weekend. I have a stock f3 s /s with 800 miles to test against.

Whats a chip? Is that like a USA term for Potato chip, cracker or french fry :dontknow:

Any RT owner can already tell a lot. Thats the most useful clips I was given. What bike do you have?

Side x side testing needs a stock bike of same model. Same transmission. Same gearing. Same weight.
Its not very controlled as users reaction times are all over the place. So you would need consistent, like minded riders. And a place to do it.

Even so, I encourage all user's to do any testing they want.

Piper,
I can spell "Chip" easier than I can spell "ECU"! :roflblack:

To my untrained brain: the terms are relatively interchangeable!
(Which probably makes the "techno-geeks" want to throw up!)

Sounds Stout/Any changes to make it shift quicker?

This RT sounds STOUT!!! Is there any programing changes to make it shift quicker??? I don't think my RTS/SE shifts as quick as the one in the video???

I for one cannot wait to hear and see the reports when these get in the hands of the masses...

I am glad to see this reprogramming of the ECU developing. I really find my 2015 RT lacking in the "passing department" when two up. I know a custom tune (reflash) really turned my NA Mustang into a beast as NA cars go.

This is the one reason I'm wanting to do the 89 tooth rear sprocket on my RTS...Plus when pulling a trailer and riding mostly secondary, mountain and hilly roads I think it would really wake these heavies up...larryd
