• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hey Howy -

It's fairly easy to do. First, the long bands are for the rear of the cowl and short bands are for the front.

Start by inserting the rear bands through the holes provided on either side of the under side of the seat (the rear seat of course). You may have to move the cover material back just a tad to see the hole properly. Once you see the notched hole, it will become clear how the bands fit into them. when installed correctly, the band will stick out. Do the same with the front bands. Some guys attach the front bands to the cowl first and then stretch them around to attach tothe seat. You might find this easier for the front.

Then take the cowl and move it into position. Start by attaching the rear bands to the rear portion of the cowl. The under side of the cowl has the same kind of notched holes on it for front and back. Be careful not to touch the tail piece while you are working to attach these bands. I have big hands so it was not real easy for me but I got it done with no problem.

Then when you have the rear on, slide the cowl forward slightly again being careful not the touch or scratch the tail piece and attach the bands to te front holes on the under side of the cowl Or the seat if you went the other way). And you are done!

GOod point Qstick about extra bands! I have some on order... Just in case!
