• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Modular helmet/ Sena 30k

I had my 30k in my Shark Evoline with no problems as it along with most new helmets are built with pockets for headsets.

SENA 30K

Hi Dave here
The SENA unit will work great on any helmet you put it on, I would be
more concerned with the way it fits and feels on your head.
Go to a shop such as Cycle Gear that stock many different brands and
try them on until you find the one that is right for you.
Then give me a call for the best price.... my BLACK FRIDAY sale is on
until Dec. 24th. (209-887-3283)

I agree with Dave, try it on the helmets you are interested in. I have mine on. Schuberth C3 pro and it does not mout flush to the helmet along the entire surface on the outside but it is on very securely nevertheless. Once on I am unable to completely fasten the chin pad as the Sena mount has to go in between where the pad “pushes in” on the helmet on that side. It’s possible I have it incorrectly mounted but I watched a lot of video before I put it on. I am happy with the unit though and the mount is good enough.

That having been said I’d choose the helmet first regardless of what comm unit you want to buy.

I ordered 2 Schuberth E1's yesterday from Revzilla at half off! I will install my Sena 30 K 's on them. The E1 is basically A C3 pro with off road extras like a sun shield or peak that can be removed. Also extra filtration and air flow.
