• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I have a 2012 RSS SE5 and I pretty much ride solo but have added a BRP backrest for when my wife wants to take a ride. Question we are planning some day trips 100 - 500 miles and I was wondering what mods do you all recommend as far as safety and more comfort?

Do you have the BRP comfort seat yet?
I might also suggest some additional lighting to make you more visible...
Foglights up front can be left on all day to throw more lumens into the path of oncoming traffic...
Some extra brakelights out back can keep some moron in a cage from trying to use you as a landing pad at an intersection
Perhaps some dayrunners hooked to the A-arms up front for additional "insurance"

What windshield are you using? One of BRP's touring models will help to reduce the tiring effects of thw wind being in your face all day...

Well those are always a good choice. I'm not sure who makes passenger armrests for the RS models; ISCI perhaps?? :dontknow:
They're a site sponsor, so you ought to check them out!

comfort..!!

Pretty much said...wind,foot positon, seat, arm rests. I would add the intercom for communication and a holder for the drinks...

ISCI does make passenger armrests for the RS models...
They also just donated a set to a member whose daughter needed them! :2thumbs:
So I'm definitely beating the Drum for ISCI! They're a great sponsor and friend to all of us!:clap::clap:

So that means I can get away with buying a second RS, and still have the security I need for the boy, instead of going over to the dark side (RT)???
I Love ISCI:yes:

One thing to consider it's the legs. ISCI (have some of their products and like them) has good highway pegs. But as far as the passanger.. is she tall, normal or short height? My wife's RS-S is nice for short rides as a passanger, but us being of normal height, the knees start hurting after a while. ISCI makes floorboards for that, but BRP also makes a passanger leg extention: http://store.spyder.brp.com/products/631113/SPYDER_RS which helps a little on the knees.
