If you DON'T LIKE sad stories...Do Not read this!

Once upon a time....There were these 2 good buddies. They rode everywhere together and life was good. :D

Then, one day, one of the buddies just rode off to California on his new RT and left the other buddy pineing away, stuck at home with no one to ride with. :(

But it was ok :ohyea: because the buddy who went to California was going to return from his wonderful trip, the 2 buddies would again hook-up, just like before, and ride to Cuba (Missouri, not the country of Cuba, because as far as the 2 buddies knew, Spyders don't float and Castro may not like uninvited SpyderLovers showing up on his shore, though it would be fun to try and outrun the Coast Guard). But that is another story altogether.

Anyway, all was well in the world with the 2 buddies until the forlorn, left at home with no buddy to ride with buddy received a phone call. :dontknow: Seems there was just too much fun and riding and joy and adventure and (well, you get the picture) to sqeeze into such a short 3 or 4 weeks (or was it 5, I lost track). :dontknow:

It seems that the plan had changed. 'Mr. California on my new RT' was not going to be coming home. Instead he would meet his buddy in Cuba.

So, now the 'Left at Home' buddy must ride all the way to Cuba all by himself and he's ASCARED! :yikes:

Now isn't that just the saddest thing you've ever heard?
just had to bring this back its funny!

Well, that should give you some time to rest up Lamont, you sure do deserve it. We will see you in a couple of days.

When you see the streak go by you know it is Doc going slow because otherwise you can't see him at all!

All I can say is strap on your rocket belt....We're going for a ride! :yikes:

OH man--all I've got to say is if he is streaking he'd better be going fast. I'm too young for that kind of corruption!!! and I definitely don't need PBJ getting any ideas.

:helpsmilie:

From Len and myself--
Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Wilkerson on the purchase of their new RT-S! Looking forward to meeting you guys at SpyderFest U.S.

welcome
Yeah. :congrats: Wilkerson's and welcome's. 4:50 am here and packed and ready to take off for Cuba. I can't shake that feeling I've forgotten something. :dontknow: I can hear Susan saying, "Forgot something again didn't you." :lecturef_smilie: I'm sure I'll remember what it is when I hit I-75 and there's no turning back. All I remember is, :cus: CRS. Isn't getting older fun, but currently still better than the alternative? MO.........Here we come! :ohyea::2thumbs:  :dontknow: :joke: It's the 5 Amigo's:roflblack:

Guess I should say welcome to Missouri, and to the rest, let the party begin because the celebrity has arrived, you know the one that started this whole Spyderlovers thing.
For those of you hitting the road today I want to wish you a safe an fun trip. Really looking forward to meeting everyone so ride/drive safe.

SUNDAY AFTER BREAKFAST

If anyone is interested, Sunday after breakfast; after all goodbye's are said.
We will be heading East and taking a ride up 'The Great River Road'. One of the best [If not the best] rides in IL. We'll end up in Hardin at the River Dock Restaurant....MMMMMMMMMMMMMMmmmmmmmmmmm they have the best brisket and best homemade pies! :2thumbs:

Just a thought!!:2thumbs::2thumbs:

Well it's Thursday and time to catch the Florida Express.
Need to hook up, gas and go.
Honk... if you see the 5 before Nashville. HONK HONK when you see the 6.

Ok just finished watching the weather forecast from the one I trust the most. I probably ride 340 days a year and this guy has only got me wet a couple of times. Hect I have even elected not to ride on questionable days just because someone else was doing the weather that morning. Looks like a cool front is coming across the Ozarks tomorrow with chances of scattered showers. Scattered showers should end early Sat morning. It will be cooler this weekend with highs in the mid 60s so bring a jacket. Keep in mind Missouri is famous for weather changing at 5 minute intervals. Sounds like we are going to have a ball. :ohyea::ohyea::ohyea: :clap:

Just got home from work, the trailer is all hooked up and we are all packed. When I wake up, it will in a few hours, do a few errands, pick Brian up from work and we will hit the road. Everyone ride safe and we'll see you soon.

If you're still meeting BajaRon in Nashville just remember he's

nojoke:D

Thanks Lamont for the word of encouragement (no negative waves). But Hey! No Sweat! I've got it all figured out. If I leave Greeneville at midnight and average 180 mph I should get to Nashville in plenty of time. :ohyea:

Should be a good warm-up for riding with Doc! :yikes:
