Okay, it is getting close now. Getting ready to have a wonderful steak dinner with my husband, then I head into work for 12 hours. Everything is just about packed so when I get home I can go to bed for a few hours and get some sleep. Get up by 1:30 pm or 2:00pm, take the dogs to my mother-in-laws house, come back home to my packed Spyder and Gene's trailer (it is all cleaned up by the way, hope it stays that way on the ride down Gene ). Head over to Brian's work and pick him up and then we are on our way south. We hope to get a good 5 or 6 hours of riding in so that we are pretty fresh on Friday. We can't wait to combine such good friends and good times with the celebration of our 22nd Wedding Anniversary. Can't wait to see everyone so very soon.

Yeah, we keep flip flopping back and forth about which route to take. I think it is about 6 of one 1/2 dozen of another. We shouldn't hit traffic too bad on the south side of Chicago by the time we get there if we go that way, which I think we are going to attempt, at least on the way out. Probably stop in Joliet or close to there in just a cheap notel motel. That leave us just under 6 hours for the ride on Friday. We will have to compare notes on the time and traffic. I have done the I-69 route a number of times, that traffic around Indy can be every bit as bad as going south of Chicago. Time of day is everything. I also need to check and see if there is construction on either route, that will also be a factor. I will check while I am at work tonight and if I find anything out, I will PM you. It may help us both decide which way is the best route to take.

I know a lot of you are hitting the road tommrow, just want to pray safe journey over your travels and good times too......that i have a feeling won't be to hard for wheeler and bajaron, looking forward to meeting so many of you......kinda want to give you the chance to redeem yourselves from some of the crazy storys Genes told us.......they just can't be true!!!!! say it aint so please please please.....if they are true lie to me and tell me there not lol jk he just said most of you were xcon's that were wanted by he law for new crimes against mankind......you'll fit right in here!:2thumbs:
