Mirror Lake Highway, Uinta Mountains Utah

The Mirror Lake Highway just opened on Saturday a week ago so I decided to ride it this past Saturday. My friend Juan and I left Spring City for Northern Utah, the start of the Mirror Lake highway. I winds it's way from Kamas up over the Uintah mountains to Evanston Wy. The traffic was not as bad as I was afraid it might be and there were not very many bikes out. Mount Baldy Mirror Lake Highway. When we came out of the canyon we had lunch in Evanston at Don Pedro's, great Mexican food.

The temperature was just right, and with snow still on the side of the road it was even cool in the afternoon. We had a great escape from all the covid 19 restrictions and a great day in the out doors.

We try to go up that Mirror Lake highway every summer for a little day trip. Haven't made it this year yet, next on the list though. Maybe we should take the Spyder instead of the Crossfire this time.
