• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Miles Traveled in 2011

Well considering I live in Alberta, Canada and we can only ride 6 months of the year if its a good year I managed to clock 13800km. I got the bike at the end of April so we may as well say may 1st and rode like hell until the end of August. Out of that time the bime was in the shop for 7 weeks total due to a few problems so that puts all that milage in 4 months. Lets hope all the bugs are worked out of it so I can make a few more long trips this summer.

FlamingoBabe has me beat by a long shot. MurphyBrown too?

Roadtrips are my favorite way to ryde.

October 15th, 2011
till
December 31st, 2011 = 2300 miles.

I reckon that is decent for 77 days of ownership :)
I'm averaging just under 30 miles a day, so if I keep that up during the new year I will lay down 10,900 miles!

First ryde of 2012 - 01/01/12 PCB to get some grub! And 01/02/12 Was the coldest ryde of the year so far :(

MILES

Flamingobabe,...Do you ever get off of it.....mike...see you at Spyderfest and i will bring the license plate :2excited:

Bought my RT in May of 2011, and decided to retire this March so I can actually put some miles on mine.
Finally have something I like to do.

From 1 Jan 11 to 1 Jan 12:

9507 miles. Not as much as I anticipated, but guess it's not bad for not being able to ride for nearly 4 months.

Ron

were you traveling backwards????hehehe...good miles.....
guess that I should have counted the miles from Sept 2010 to april 27 2012, but I won't..l.ike heck I will..:roflblack:... 15,000 + but that was on the Blue RT (2010)

As to backwards.....no need... I just jack up the rear in low and let it run... if you believe that I have another story to tell.. :roflblack: :roflblack:
