There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I feel your pain too Eraser. We need a Canadian:spyder: Ambassador program too .
But I would like to vote for Cyncyspyder and Teddy.Cyncyspyder and Teddy write an amazing blog(thread on this site) They live and breath the daily life of a :f_spider: rider and BRP is getting two great ambassadors for the price of one . From the posted pics of Teddy he draws a crowd where ever he goes.

I agree some of the video's on line are top notch, as you said, professional film crew quality.
Here is the Judging Criteria from BRP's rule site:
JUDGING: Judging will be done on or about April 11, 2011 by a panel of judges based on the following, equally weighted criteria: strength of essay (25%), strength of video (25%), perceived passion for the sport (25%), and creativity/originality. The two highest scoring entries will be declared members of the Spyder ambassador team. In the event of a tie, the entry with the higher score first in the creativity criteria and then in the essay criteria will be declared members of the Spyder ambassador team. If a tie continues, the tied entries will be re-judged by a new judge using the original criteria. The new Spyder ambassadors will be announced on the Spyder blog on or about April 15, 2011.
