There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.
Have visited the Durango area ten or twelve times in my life, half those on motorcycle. Looking forward to my first trip there on my RT. Mickey's video really gets me thinking about it. Can hardly wait!
:roflblack: The irony is that I spent twenty minutes making it spotless in the parking lot at Monument Valley, right before we rode the dirt track around the buttes. Ten minutes in, it was had a half inch layer of dirt all the way around. The next morning, I took it to a car wash and washed it again before the second day of shooting...again, an hour later later it was filthy. I gave up on trying until the second day of Spyderfest. Took it to another car wash to get it ready for the parade...twenty minutes later...rain. :gaah:
Excellent narrative with beautiful shots:thumbup: Can't wait to get to Durango. People not familiar with the RS are gonna think its for off road use after watching this:yikes:. I want to see some canyon jumping now:yes::roflblack:.
I can't help it. I LOVE dirty motorcycles. Dirty motorcycles look like they're just itching to go somewhere. Clean motorcycles look like they just want to stay in the garage and not get dirty.
Thanks, Phil! The production kudos go to the crew, Rob and Cole. Cole was the shooter and he got some fantastic footage. Rob did the interviewing and the setups and made it easy to feel relaxed and natural.
I don't know if you know this, but I'm a 2011 silver Telly winner, for a music video I directed. They're sweet statues!
(Oh, I just realized I'm holding it in my hand in my profile pic, I get it now, lol)
