I have a cousin who defied all odds and won 1.1M once and about 1M a second time.
That's the good news (yeah I know 640M is about 320 times better than what they won)
The bad news is that today, 25 years after The Wins (as our family calls it) these folks are destitute.

Strange but both my cousin & her husband continued to work, didn't do anything outwardly stupid but today their house, cars & toys have been sold at a Sheriff's Sale.
Too bad, I know.
And of course nobody would make those mistakes....

Strangely, my relative's plight is far from unusual, it's the norm.
