• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Meet Project Knight Rider.......(Vid and pics)

Ultimate Spyderlover
First off I want to send a big thanks and shout out to Reggy from TricLed. His products and customer service are second to none! Also thanks to Raw Design for the slip ring design. This project has been a blast to work on, a lot of fun, and most of all I'm proud of it because I DID IT MYSELF. That's the biggest thing. I've never wrenched on anything in my life, no mechanical skills at all, so this project has given me a dear sense of accomplishment. Thanks to any who view and comment on this thread....means a lot to me. I love this forum and all the help you guys have given.

I took my bike straight to the police department and told all the officers to come outside and look at it. I said to them if it's illegal here, I'll take it all off. They told me I was fine and that no cop here in MS would mess with me. They also asked me if they could borrow it. :firstplace: All the cops were standing around it drooling begging to ride it.

I asked first instead of spending the money. :) then I showed them pictures to verify.

Question: How'd you get power down to the hubs, and then out to the spokes of the wheels?

With a slip ring. The wires from the wheels are connected to a slip ring, and the wire to the battery is connected to a brush pad that allows the slip ring to spin on it.
