• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I'm not sure what route either. There are some parts of Flarda that I haven't seen since I was a teenager that I'll have an opportunity to visit. One of them, I think, is the mongoose at a diner in Yeehaw Junction. I have fond memories of those days.

The Damn Yankees route to Clewistion for the meet and greet

I see many of you were wondering what route we were taking, so I thought I would go ahead and post it now instead of Feb 2. The up to date counts will still be on post 53#. Any questions just let me know. If you plan on meeting up with us on the route please let us know so we can be looking for you. The schedule is so we will arrive on time in Clewiston so we will be staying to the Departure times, however the arrival times may vary. Please be fuel up at the meeting place at least 15 min prior to departure time. The last fuel stop will be at Lake Placid. Thank you John and Carol

Forrest nothing I just figured it would be a lot quicker to get everyone on the road again at the visitor center than at BE. This way those that want breakfast will plan on being done on time and ready to go. Remember we have to leave by the departure time to stay on schedule.

Johnnyg, Amy and I plan to meet the group at checkpoint D, the BP station in Frostproof at 9:15. However, I have the address for the BP station at 7030 Hwy 27, Frostproof, FL. If you enter 730 Hwy 27N in your GPS you will end up way south of the the BP station.

Feb meetup

I am sorry to have to cancel meeting up in Clewiston. I work part time at the Daytona Speedway and that is the Daytona 500 weekend. I must work Friday Saturday and Sunday that week.
