Measuring AmerSeal?

Hello all,
Per Lamonster's site he calls out 6-7 oz in front tires and 8-10 oz in rear.....but only sells a 32oz bottle?
For those who have installed AmerSeal in your Spyder's tires how are you accurately measuring how much your putting in each tire?

There should be a measurement guide on the side of the bottle.
Just my opinion, I used this on my last set of tires and quite frankly it's crap.
Replaced the tires about a year after putting this stuff in and it was all gummed up making a hell of a mess to my rims and absolutely no protection towards sealing a puncture.

No good can come of putting something in your tires, other than air or nitrogen and nitrogen is a waste of money.

Personally, I use a 78.09% nitrogen, 20.95% oxygen, 0.93% argon, 0.04% carbon dioxide, and small amounts of other gases in my tires. I had used "RideOn" in my Kawasaki Voyager and it too made a mess of the wheels when it came time to change tires. Soooo nuttin' else in mine.

I also bought this product. Put it in all my Spyder tires and trailer tires. After about 6 months my right front tire would not stay inflated. Would loose about 2 to 3 PSI every week. Took it to a tire dealer to have checked out. First off, I did not tell him I have a sealant in the tire. He called me later stating he could not repair the tire as it had some sort of sealant. He was not able to remove the sealant to find the leak. Needless to say I had to purchase two new tires and have the, just about 8 month old tires, replaced. As of this date I have not had any problem with the rear tire or tires on my trailer. Hope this helps.

I use amerseal in my bike & trailer, haven't gotten any nails yet to say how well it works but it makes me feel a littler better

I used Lamonster's Ameriseal in my last set of Kenda tires, when it came to replacing those with better tires, I forgot to tell the tires guys. They kept their quoted price, but said had they known, they would have quoted more due to the cleanup time my mess made (of course, being a tire shop, they preferred I didn't use ANY leak prevention).

I've learned that if I want the security of the Ameriseal, I should drain the pressure out of the tires, pop one bead and wash out the sealant (it is water based) and let the tires dry out, BEFORE taking them to the tire shop.
I did feel a bit safer on cross country rides with it in. But again, never had any proof that it got a chance to work.
The bottles DID come with a measuring index on the side of the bottle.

Just installed three new tires to my 2010 RT. Dealer refused to add sealant, said it was not recommended by them. So, now have a new bottle of Ameriseal, not sure about trying it? Seen good reports and bad. Think I will hang onto plug kit and air compressor!

Purchased Amerseal from Lamonster. Ran it until replacing OE tires. Sealer wiped off the wheel with a paper towel. Put Amerseal in new tires. Guess I was lucky.
