• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Rainy Weekend

:coffee: The Weather People are saying Rain all weekend. We had 1.2" of rain yesterday. Go fishing in the rain. Friday high 77,° all day rain, Saturday high 78° cloudy and more rain, Sunday high 72° and rain. Enjoy your weekend and stay dry. .....

When you come out of the house at 6am into a light snow and there’s ice on the bike cover you leave the cover on the bike and take the car to work..... ahhhh, Newfoundland,!!

It's called May because it may snow, it may rain, it may be warm, it may be cold, it may be cloudy, or it may be sunny.

Last week we had snow (poor Mans fertilizer) I had 1.5 inches of snow on the ground, and had snow on my spyder which was covered, with a full cover.

I said to my boyfriend jokingly " To get a the sleds back out" Not! It felt like winter!

It’s the 19th of MAY!

We’re 2 MONTHS into spring!

It’s SNOWING!

Who cancelled the GLOBAL WARMING I was promised?

:coffee: Today is day six for Rain. :gaah: Water all over the yard. Enjoy your day. ......

We just came out of that, sumps been running pretty steady. Yesterday tried to ride but with 40 kt wind gusts it wasn’t any fun. Today is supposed to be much less windy and in the mid to upper 80’s so I must ride.

We have started off the week with some rain showers, 60's, and high winds. Not perfect, but in Alaska, this was considered warm weather riding. :roflblack:

We have ridden both days, and have encountered sprinkles. Have not been soaked yet...so that is good. It is "supposed" to get up into the 70's the rest of the week. The weather here is setting all time "low" records. Whooda thought? :roflblack:

105 miles in the Hills today. Low 80's, clear sky, just about perfect. Seeing more tourists every time we go out. Think New York had the majority today. Did the Wildlife loop for the 1st time on the Spyder. Buffalo seem much bigger then when in the Excursion...

Cloudy Day

:coffee: Today is going to be cloudy and 61°F. Only 10 percent chance of Rain.....
Still have a very wet yard and tall grass to cut. Have a great day. .......

I noticed the bison in Custer DID seem rather robust when I rode through a couple years ago... If you ever make it over Sheridan, Wyoming way and want a tour guide or some riding company, let us know!

Might have to take you up on that, we've talked about doing a BigHorns loop sometime.

Spring is in the air finally, had another 50 mile ride up Sheridan lake rd to hwy 385 and back down hwy 16. Have to add Sheridan Lake Rd to the Black Hills routes for those coming to D3WR.

Weekend Weather

:coffee: Good Day, weather people have come up with only 20 percent rain for the weekend. Maybe get some grass cut. Today's high 73°, Saturday high 79°, and Sunday high of 81°. Enjoy your holiday weekend and stay safe. .....

A nasty severe storm blew through about noon. It got dark as night, winds were bending over the trees (no damage), and the lightning/thunder show was pretty good.

Fortunately, the storm was moving fast, so that part was gone in about 15 minutes. Had some rain on and off for the next hour and a half. Now, light again, and no rain. The people to the East are getting the brunt of the storm.
