• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hello All,
I heard about this site so thought I'd join to get info. I will post a picture soon. Anyway, I am a fairly new Spyder Rider. I have only been riding a year and bought a used '08. Now that I know I LOVE riding, I am going to sell my bike and upgrade to a new or newer 3 wheeler. Folks are trying to steer me into looking at the Harley Trike and the Honda Trike. After reading your posts I am almost sure I am going to stick with the Spyder. Besides I like being different ;). I live in Hampton Roads so will be looking for other Spyder riders. Additional feedback is welcomed. Thanks and have a great day! Janzz

You can always look at the BMW Reverse Trike.

:welcome: and:congrats: Take a look on 2014, I like this new machine but I'm waiting on reviews with our new owners.

One thing for sure...you've come to the best Spyder related forum on the web! The people are friendly, helpful, and interacting on this forum contributes very positively to the overall Spyder experience. Best Wishes on your decision!

Welcome, and if you are thinking of upgrading to a new trike the 2014 spyder apprears to be awesome! The 3 cylinders and 115 h.p. is going to be tough to beat! I think it will humble a lot of other brands when compraisions are done.

Welcome Janzz!!!

If you're coming off an 08 GS, sounds like you're in the market for an RS/RSS or ST. Can't go wrong with any of them, but one of the things you may have gleaned from this forum is to do your homework upfront...we all know hindsight is 20/20, so you want to choose the ryde that suits your needs and driving style. Good to have you aboard...you are among friends.

BTW...will you be selling or trading in your GS?

We're glad that you've found us! :yes::ohyea::yes: :2thumbs:
:welcome:and :congrats:
More than half of the fun is in the shopping, so enjoy the search for another :spyder2:

Congrats..!!

welcome to the roadster world and the best site for anything spyder. You have many choices as to upgrading and as soon as test rydes are available for the 14's you will be able to make a choice. There will be a lot of specials and offers...if you can test ride a trike it will clear up the issue of "trike vs reverse trike". Glad to have you on board...!! :ohyea:

:welcome: When it comes to all things :spyder2:, you have surely found the place.

You are going to find us rather biased when it comes to :ani29: being the best three-wheeler out there. Volumes jave beem written about Honda, HD, and Spyder amd the debate as to which is best. Only you can determine if another brand is the one you want to go for.

With some :spyder2: experience now, you have some benchmark information when testing the other brands. Likes and dislikes will quickly appear. If you decide on a different brand, only you can determine that and which one to go with.

Welcome. I will just say, reasearch all, buy what you like and can afford. I tried HD, Wing and even a BMW trike. Liked and went with a 08 GS/(now RS), then decided I wanted the touring model and bought a 2010 RT. each had good and bad points.
Oh I almost forgot I rode a 800 Susuki (sp?) trike. My thought on this bring to mind a Yugo and I try to forget.
