Just put 100 miles on my new 2014 RT and oil is everywhere: garage floor, right bag, muffler and completely covered underneath. I did not receive any error codes and my oil light did not appear, but only a 1/4 inch appears on the dipstick when hot. The bike is a mess!! The dealer claims they have never seen anything like this on the 2014's. No clue as to where it's coming from. Thoughts??
I want to thank everybody for the constructive input concerning my oil leak. The dealer traced it to an allen head set screw near the transmission that was leaking badly. Apparently this screw is factory sealed with high temp Locktight sealant but has worked loose on some machines. At least one other Spyder owner experienced the same problem, had it resealed and driven over 6,000 miles without a problem. I have a loaner and will pick up my Spyder tomorrow afternoon after the sealant has set up. Let's hope this ends the oil problem.
Thanks again
