• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

for some it means the states they've been in with their spyder. for others, it's just states they've been in - period!

:shocked: ...But she keeps missing Nebraska... :gaah: :roflblack:

No offense to Nebraskans--but there is not a lot to see there--likewise Kansas. :roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:

I did like the hill country up by Valentine NE though. :thumbup:

Oh... :shocked:
I'll just bet that the "Nebraskonians", and "Kansultuckians" are getting ready to send you all kinds of mean letters... :D

I would be the first to admit there is not a lot of scenery in Nebraska, especially on I-80.

There are nice canyons within a few miles North & South of I-80 in the middle of the state.

If you are into visiting various attractions, there is:
Pioneer Village - http://pioneervillage.org/;
SAC Air Force Museum - http://www.sasmuseum.com/exhibits/aircraft/;
Union Pacific Railroad Museum (now in Council Bluffs, IA) - http://www.uprrmuseum.org/;
The Golden Spike Tower - http://www.goldenspiketower.com/;
Cody Museum - http://www.roadsideamerica.com/story/10519 -
I-80 Archway - http://www.roadsideamerica.com/story/9790;
and many of the small towns along the Interstate have interesting historical areas which are not very well publicized.

From each of these towns are many good riding country roads that will bring new adventures.

I know. Sometimes mentioning a subject or a personal opinion can get one into trouble. Have not been in a controversy for awhile--so I will keep the asbestos suit handy. :thumbup:

LOL, no offense taken. Did you see the phenominal waterfalls that are hidden around Valentine?

I've been trying to get my map of the U.S. states I've visited to show up in my sig for some time and can't seem to get it figured out.

You can add it through the "edit signature" area of the User CP... :thumbup:

I do believe that that is my map! The colors are random in the program that you use to create the map. For me the colored states are states that I have been to on my Spyder.

Yes, that was your map, you have done a lot of traveling, congrats :clap::clap::clap::clap::clap:

I missed those. We were on a mission that day. Needed to get up to South Dakota where we were going to spend the night before heading back to WI.

I do have some ties to NE. My sister lives in Omaha, and Linda (akspyderlady) used to live in western NE.
