• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hi all Any thoughts on a tuned round exhaust manifold, coupled to the two brothers system ( with K& N ) filter , must give more power ? Just another thought regards nico 75
 
It doesn't really matter what you do to the manifold, air intake, exhaust, mufflers, cat converters, or anything else you can swap by unbolting/replacing; unless you get an ECU Upgrade or something like a PowerCommander or a piggy-back chip, you really aren't going to get much improvement in overall power at all!! :lecturef_smilie: At best, you might get something hardly measurable, at worst you'll kill some sector of your rev range &/or hammer your fuel economy!! :shocked:

So unless you're planning an ECU Upgrade or similar, you're really only playing around the edges & fiddling with noise & appearances, & probably doing more harm than good to boot!! :gaah:

The computer and its sensors do a great job of taking any changes it senses and changing the timing, mixture, and other parameters to bring performance back to its’s programmer range. So pipes and mufflers will only change the sound. Only an ECU flash will actually change performance.
