• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Making a day trip to the NC mountains on 5/14

I am looking at doing a day trip from the Raleigh area to the NC mountains and back. We will be taking 421 up towards the Boone area. We will jump on the BRP and take that south to Little Switzerland. While there, we will be riding the Diamondback (226A). Then we will jump on 221 and make our way down to Marion. After a late lunch, we will jump onto I-40 and head back home. It should be about 475 miles, but loads of fun. We usually do this in the fall, but decided to make it earlier this year since we will be in the area for the rally in Maggie Valley during October anyway. Post up and let me know if you are interested. BTW, 2 wheelers are welcome.
