• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Magic Mirrors Question

Has anyone had problems with them affecting the gauges to the right and left on the dash? Does flipping magnets actually help?

I have them on my 15 RTS. No gage problem or falling off. I do have the teathers but do not think they are needed. They are great. The mirrors are easy to take off and on and do not vibrate anymore from being loose.

I have the tethers on mine, no issues.
I put the magnets up to my magnetic retriever the side that repelled I put away from the bike.
I'm not sure if that was right or wrong, but everything seems to be good for a couple weeks of riding now.
I did have to leave the big washer off of the lower front magnet to prevent a bit of a gap.

Yes

When I installed my Magic mirrors, I had to "flip" the magnets to get it where it did not effect the gauges. It took me several tries to get the right combination of "polarity" to eliminate the magnetic interference with the gauges. Moving the wires a little bit also help out on the right side. I did not have to disassemble anything, I just pushed the wire harness over with my finger thru the opening under the mirror. I hope this helps. Good luck

Thanks, this was my first DIY project with my 2016 RT Limited, had to laugh at the "You Tube" videos and it said would take about a half hour. It took me a half hour just to get the damn mirrors off, glad I will only have to do that once! Can't believe that that is what the engineers came up with in order to mount the mirrors.

4 magnets

Good job on your first DIY . When I put them on I only used the bottom two magnets , Lamonster actual sells them that way now, you just use the stock hanger in the top spot.

Yeah, I saw that, wanted to get rid of all of the plastic washers. Ordered swaybar and lidlox from him should be here in a day or so. Don't have anyway to lift my trike or probably the expertise to attempt the swaybar, Lidlox should be easy though.

Also, got the Wide-View mirrors from TricLED yesterday, brought the mirrors inside the house tonite to warm up to room temperate so they will stick well.

Getting ready for good weather.
