• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Magic 120mph/200kmh - can she still do it after 10 years of heavy heavy use???

Nothing more, nothing less, is what this video is about... maybe a nonsense for some, maybe fun to watch for others..
Enjoy

Ohh, and yes, it's not me who is riding; it's not TheBeast in the video; and it has been done in safe "environment" on a private road...

I really need to get a camera to do a video. Even with the 120 mph limit, faster speeds can be achieved under the right conditions with a 'normal' ECU configuration and without a cat delete.

When I was working in Hagerstown, I would drive in really early to have fun on I-70 while there were no other cars out, in temps that during the winter, went down as low as 8 deg F and as warm as 75 deg F in the summer mornings.

I could regularly achieve in between 124-126 mph going West on the downhill side of South Mountain with tires fitted that have the speedo matching my GPS, and this is with a Base F3 with a Blue Ridge windshield mounted to it.

Unfortunately, I don't get to have this fun on the way to work anymore, as I am working locally in Frederick now.

As a side note, I also need to do a video of my F3 rolling backwards uphill while idling in neutral at Gathland Gap road. The story here is that it is the ghosts of Civil War Soldiers that are pushing your vehicle uphill.

The mountains tend to do funny things to vehicles.

Traffic laws? We don't need no stinking traffic laws!

I heard somebody say sometime that speed limit signs are merely a suggestion. :joke:

But to be serious, I do take care when around other vehicles or populated areas. No need to endanger anyone else when I am pushing my limits.

:))))))
just one comment, Actually Cat Del - dont help much with top speed, unless you do DYNOJET mods,.

I hit 105 once on my 2010 RS SE5. Only once. I’m too old for that. Was it fun? Yes. Was it smart? No. Things happen way too fast on the road. I once had an “instant deer” magically appear in front of my car. Didn’t even have time to say bad words. I can’t imagine hitting a deer on a Spyder. Hitting anything is gonna hurt. It’s not worth the chance to see what top end is in any vehicle. I’ll never drive it that fast anyway.

Ya Martin, and it wasn't you on the bike, but the guy had your shirt and watch and wrist bands on! :2thumbs:

I dunno what your point is Mikey? :dontknow:

I'm pretty sure that ALL famous media celebrities have stunt doubles, and they ALWAYS match the clothing, hair style, watch, and wrist bands, otherwise there'd be no point! :lecturef_smilie:

I know mine does! :p ;)
