• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Maggie Valley Spyder Adventures is coming up quick. October 6th through 9th 2021, Maggie Valley, NC

http://www.valueaccessories.net/SpyderAdventures.htm

We have a very large amount of Spyder Ryders signed up so far. To make this a success we need volunteers for the registration table for all days. This is a free event and dependent on volunteers to keep it going.

We also have a couple of volunteers to lead the morning Rattler and Elk Viewing rides. We still need a few more ride leaders. If you could lead an afternoon Rattler ride please contact us. We also have a lot of people asking for rides to Deals Gap and surrounding area. If you could lead a small group ride please let us know. We will have sign up sheets for all rides at the event and all rides will be limited in numbers.

The Thursday Dinner Ride sign up is now open. We were able to get reservations for 75, so it will fill up. https://store.valueaccessories.net/SpyderAdventuresGrannysRegistration.aspx

I should be able to lead another Deals Gag and Cherohola Skyway ride again this year. We will also be doing a waterfall route ride again as well. I will be going up next week with the wife for a little late anniversary trip and hope to check out some places and see how much damage was done with the flooding. My guess is that there might still be some roads closed even in October due to washouts and rock slides. And the hurricane season is just really getting started. PM me if you need something official.
BTW, we are staying in Bryson City this year, but we can still meet up for the rides.

Hi Rick. I just registered my husband and my self for the Rally. In the comment area I place a note regarding my willingness and availability to help with registration. Excited to be attending again this year

Give us a call after you scout it out and let us know which rides for which dates. We will have sign up sheets like last year. Everyone liked it last year.

Thanks,
We have you in for Thursday.
Rick

We are still needing help for registrations on Friday.

Would anyone be interested in a swap meet later Friday afternoon? We could probably have an extra table and use the registration area for an hour late in the afternoon.

Rick will the guys that installed tires and did the alignments be back? Can’t remember the name.

Yes Netzley Tire will be there again. Oil Changes, Tires, Brakes, Alignments, Sway Bars and more. They also help on some of our installs also.

I did some scouting out of areas that I thought might possibly be washed out. Nothing too bad. There was some wash over in some places along hwy 215 and 276. But I did not come across any roads that were actually still closed. I am sure that there will be some closed, but I am thinking that there will be a way around. The weather was awesome and I met some nice spyders along the road. The BRP was beautiful and intact for the the areas from 215 and south to Cherokee. I did not get to check out to the north, but didn't talk to anyone who had any issues. I will definitely be able to lead a couple of rides this year and will contact you on a schedule and route.
My wife is taking her 3 wheeled course this weekend and is excited about riding with other ladies. She was looking at new spyders, but I think I have convinced her to go used at first. I have seen too many people purchase a new $28k machine to only rack up 2k miles or less a year. I told her to try it out and if she likes it, she can buy new next year. I don't think it will be hard to convince her of this since I found the identical machine to mine, but with 1/2 the milage at a great price. Since she likes for us to match, and red is her favorite color, it should be an easy sell.

Thanks,
Give us a call next week. We have been at Spyderquest in Lake George NY all week and coming home on Sunday.

Thanks to BajaRon and Lamonster Garage as being supporting Vendors and supplying Door Prizes. We have known both for over 20 years and are great people.
Ron is supposed to be around at the Rally on Thursday and maybe even Friday.

We still need help for at the registration table for Friday afternoon.
Would anyone be interested in a Swap meet on Saturday sometime?

I will be in contact next week. Work has been crazy this past week, and on Wednesday morning, my brother passed. It was not unexpected, but it still isn't easy. We are putting him to rest on Monday and I should be back to work mid day Tuesday.

Very sorry to hear that. No rush, we will get the ride sign up sheets put together when we hear from you.
