• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I just got an email for the host hotel, they have reserved rooms at the Holiday Inn Express in Cherokee, N.C. There are a total of 65 rooms reserved at a discounted rate of $104 a night plus tax.
When reserving, people must call and ask fro the BRP rate to receive the discount. There is no way to apply the discount online. The number is: 828-497-3113

The hotel's Web site is:

thanks Lamont.. I called and got my reservation.. I love what Pete did on the wrap on your ride.. I have decided to send him some parts and have him do the Spyder on the Yellow Web design for me..

I think it's great they announce the event for Maggie Valley and then the host hotel is in Cherokee:dontknow:
Oh well, it's a nice drive between the towns. I think I'll keep mine in Maggie Valley.

Thanks Lamont.

Got my reservation in. All I have to do now is start saving up!

:agree: Although the announcement did say Maggie Valley Area. But with us bringing the dogs we are better in the place we are staying since the owners will petsit our kiddos. And like you said Dick, the drive will be worth it! I'm sure we're not the only ones in Maggie Valley City.:2excited:

we also have reservations in Maggie Valley. Sure would be nice to know where the events and gatherings will be held...

Maggie Valley

Mrs InspectorGadget and I had already had made reservations to stay in Maggie Valley, so we will be making the drive to Cherokee too. Maybe we can join up and ryde to Cherokee together, or at least party together in Maggie Valley:clap:
I look forward to making new spyder buddies and visiting with my present ryding friends.
Have fun and ryde safe C-YA RL

Nancy and I had made previous reservations at the Hampton Inn, in Cherokee. We will go ahead and stay where we are.

We (Bruce & Marilyn) are also staying at the Alamo, when will you be arriving?
Hope to see you there.

Be well,
Bruce
Awesome! :2thumbs:We will be driving up there the 15th, should be arriving that evening. We want to make it to Lamont's BBQ.

We won't be the only ones. See you there!:2thumbs:

Personnally, I would have preferred Maggie Valley over Cherokee anyday....but it's all good.

it's a short 15 mile "up-hill" climb (hwy 19) from Maggie to Cherokee, with nothing but God's perfect views along the way. of course, that's unless you take the long way around

:welcome:

Hey draboo, what camp-ground are y'all stay'n at? Teddy & I need to make our reservations, but have no clue about the camp grounds in that area & it's always good to be close to fellow Spyder & Pooch Lovers as well :2thumbs:
